Courts still open for play

Written by Donald Fullarton

THE COURTS at Helensburgh Tennis Club are still available for play — despite some local rumours to the contrary.

Indeed they have been well used yesterday and today.

However, in view of the current coronavirus crisis and in line with LTA and Tennis Scotland recommendations, all organised activity at the club is suspended until further notice.

It is up to individuals to decide, in light of their personal circumstances, whether they wish to play.

Members are advised to adhere to the NHS advice on hygiene and safety which is displayed at the clubhouse. It is suggested that sensible social distancing is adhered to when in the lounge or changing rooms.

All adult group coaching is suspended. With regard to junior coaching, Katie Hope is contacting all the parents and will proceed depending on their feedback.
